I went to the location in Alejuela on a saturday morning and enjoyed the food. It is a little bit of a drive but we ended heading up the Volcano and hit some of the road side vendors for Cheese, Strawberries, Tamales, and sweets. Nice way to spend an early but lazy morning. You can check out the website here http://lasdeliciasdelmaiz.com/index.html The prices I thought were reasonable and the amount of food served was more than plenty. I for one enjoy the comidas tipicas and enjoyed some food that I had not experienced in Costa Rica. |
