Hadn't been here for quite a long time, so thought it was time to drop in again. I went for dinner with a friend and sat down at a nice table. The first thing that impacted me was the volume of music. I Ican't understand the need fr loud music in a restaurant. I simply can't. I was having to raise my voice significantly at times in order to hold a conversation. Starter serving sizes were very generous. We had calamari and mussels. The mussels were good, the calamari was overcooked. For mains we had roast beef medallions and shrimp. For a beef place the medallions were disappointing. Not bad, but the meat quality was only so so. The shrimp were decent. The highlight of the night was the sangria, which was delicious. We had several. I'd be willing to stop in there on those hot afternoons for one. Don't thik I would make it a priority to go back for beef though.

Dinner for two, with appetizers, one glass of wine and 5 sangrias cost about 100 bucks.

I really like this place a lot.

I would stay away from seafood. I had sweetbreads (awesome) and a filete termino ingles (!).

But loud music is a deal breaker at that price. I'll check it out in may, but will have a plan B.
