I used to have their pizza some time back. Well that won't be happening any time soon. Yesterday a friend and I were on our way home in Escazu. My friend needed to stop at the bank machine. I said to him that I wanted to get some pizza at Pan Y Vino to take home since they don't do delivery. I ordered an extra large (good for two meals) pizza with mushrooms and pepperoni along with a small Caesar salad. The bill came along with the pizza and it was in excess of 20,000 col. My friend ordered an extra large meat lovers and they charged and extra 1500 col. for each ingredient so his pizza also cost over 20,000 col without the salad. Who are they shitting.....a pizza for over $40. They won't ever see me again. I still like a place in Sabana called Goodfellas which has free delivery even to Escazu. Pizza there is the normal expensive 10,000 col. (same as even shitty Pizza Hut)

It still baffles me that Pizza Hut, Pan y Vino, LaFabrica, etc. all charge outrageous prices for pizza but are always crowded.

Best deal in town is still Pricesmart. 18 inch pizza loaded with the works for about $11.00.
