Locally-sourced restaurant features stuff locals won't catch or eat--pompano, anyone?

Actually there are 2 locations, Santa Ana being the other, and it started as a seafood store: http://product-c.com/

2 other restaurants (one featuring beef) are mentioned in this article on the locavore movement in CR.

I've dined at Doris Metropolitan in Santa Ana and it is excellent.

Have you eaten here Sr. Jazz? I did with a visiting friend from FL long time in the restaurant biz. It was a disappointment. Maybe I'll give them another try as they say it could have been an off night. Restaurant Pescatore in Escazu has been great on every visit.

Nossir mine was strictly a link so those who have dined can give commentary pro or con. Thank you for doing so.

Sr. Jazz, I see your locale is SW Florida. In Key West I recommend Louie's Backyard. Been there numerous times, but alas not in awhile, pricey but fantastic food and service and the outdoor deck near the ocean is great!
