You might want to try Lubnan on Paseo Colon, across the street and a few meters to the east from the Scotia Bank high rise office building for Lebanese food. The bar is also the scene for a local crowd, popular on Wed or Thurs.? I.D. can fill in the blank here.

Flyboy-I was going to Lubnan, but it was a Monday and the 2 Lebanese restaurants in San Jose are closed on Mondays (The other is called I believe Cafe Beirut in the Sabana area) so we were forced to go to the one in Escazu and it was a pleasant surprise. I will check our Lubnan when I am back in SJO during Halloween.

Ate at Sisso last night. Israeli/Moroccan food. Great food but the service could use some improvement. Ordered way too much, because the server was unfamiliar with portions. Definetly the real deal though. 3 feasted for under a hundred.

Somehow, I just knew if I was patient enough, someone would remind me of something I miss about Costa Rica.

We ate there every Sunday.

Travalot, I agree the service is not that great at Sisso, bit it is not much better at Lubnan and the food at Lubnan is not as good as Sisso.
