I know this one is a long shot, but does anyone know of any real juice bars and places for raw food in the city. Also interested in finding a bigger organic market than the one by the railroad tracks on Saturday. Thanks. |

Not sure of directions here BK, but I'm thinking that would be Jugo Fruits or Cosecha. Jugo Fruits I grabbed fruit smoothies a lot in the mornings and Cosecha I get mixes of fruits and vegetables. I just need to be a little patient. Will have a juicer and food processor soon. |

So which vegetarians friendly restaurants are very close to HLH and DR? I have noticed Vishnu and el sarab something but wonder what else is close by. Wont mind taking a cab. And regarding fruits/ juices - in general, is it safe to eat fruits in SJ? I usualky avoid fruits in Asia but not sure about SJ. |

I have always found it safe eating fruits in Costa Rica. I walked by Vishnu the other day. Just took a gander at the menu and not really all that impressed. It is "healthier" than a lot of options, but not sure most of their juices are what I'm wanting. Have a juicer coming this week so it's all good. Made a connection with an organic farmer's daughter, so will just be buying my fruits and produce in bulk and doing most myself.
