Since this is your first post on CRT I would assume you have an interest in Mac's of some kind..

If I am correct I would only ask of you one thing....

These "Sexy" Waitress' you speak of... On the Menu for take out ???

Are ALL of the Steakhouse steaks Argentinian beef? I wish they would have the menu prices on their site.

Food is decent bar food. Don't remember a hot waitress.

I live very close to that place. It is okay. Food is decent, beers cold, but they are 1300 colones I think. Gabby the bartender at the lodge used to work there. They seem to be busy in the evening and weekend nights. They have pool tables and Tornado foosball tables.

Obviously a promo post. There are no sexy waitresses at Macs and the food is mediocre bar food at best.

Disagree w/ Randy. I've only been there once, but the bartenders/servers were all very attractive. The food was good by CR standards. Better that harry's poas bar and Chubbs by a long shot.

Thanks, for your honest review as well, 8ball. It's encouraging to see the "brotherhood" sharing honest opinions about fine eateries in San Jose without engaging in fistfights.

I was there with ocho when he was there last. So no promo from me. I live very close but still go to the Lodge to chill instead. I mean it is worth a stop in if you are in Sabana and just checkin places out.

Only been in once to watch a football game last season. Beer was cold, don't remember anything special about the waitresses. Not saying they were bad. Would stop by there again sometime if I were in the neighborhood to check it out, but don't think I would make a special trip.

Mac's has been around for at least 20 years that I know of. I never found the food much more then average and the prices a little above average.

If you are in that area of town and want a meal try Besos which is 150 meters west of Macs.
