Anybody know of anything open 24 hours, or late night besides the casinos and hotels in Downtown SJ near Hotel La Amistad?!

The only place open 24 hours is Hotel Del Rey. No other hotel is open 24 hours. The SL bar closes at midnight. The casinos (even the DR casino) can only be open 11am-5am (I hope this is right, I know they changed the hours a few times). Key Largo closes about 2 or 3 am. Strip clubs close about 5am.

If we are talking about late night eats, is Nuestra Tierra still open 24/7?

To me Nuestra Tierra is a good example of what's wrong with restaurants in SJ. The prices are over the top, food is supposed to be comida tipica, not very exciting, and tough to get spiced up unless you pour on the Tabasco, but I can never get out of there for under $60US for 2 if you have a drink. It's open very late that's true, but I believe they wait for the Gringos to show up so they can pay the utility bills for the month. Just an over priced and over hyped average restaurant.

It's been a few years since I've been there. Prices have definitely gone up as I never paid near that much. Not a great place, but kind of like the Waffle House, it was generally the only option at certain hours.
