L'Ancora De La Iglesia Sta Teresita 400 Mts. Este, 100 Mts Norte Bario Escalante 506-2280-5170 Haven't been in ages 5 of us tonight for a quick bite: Without giving the Soup to nuts review I'll just do the basics. Service outstanding, Ambiance still a great little get away for dinner with pricing very reasonable. Platter of meats, cheeses, peppers & vegetables for 2 persons split for 5 was more than enough. A Pizza was also ordered for an appetizer to accompany the platter. Bread still has that great Chive / Cream spread that they offer. Entrees: Veal Parmigiana Fresh good veal sauce lacking substance but very good none the less Penne Arabiatta with hot sauce "RED" excellent Fettuccini Carbonara Excellent Lasagna Excellent Special of the day was a fresh fish with lemon butter white wine & capers sauce best meal on the table (Surrounded by baby shrimp) Wine list still pricey but all and all a solid performance. |

Always loved the food there, but a lot of us quit going because they would pad bills and mislead on wine prices. |
