We have added a true Philly Cheesesteak to the menu. Shaved ribeye, onions and peppers on an Italian Haogie roll wiht provolone. I beleive it is even up to Brother Deans standards.

I have all of my culinary needs taken care of now: Legs and Eggs for breakfast, Pholly Cheesesteak for Lunch and Havana Pink Snapper for dinner.

Thank you sir!

Reminds me of a Seinfeld episode where George wants to have it all. Is it permitted to take a sandwich into the room and eat while the chica is doing you? :D

That would be an epic dilemma. Hmmm...which to eat first?

Its not a cheesesteaks without the Wiz. And dont get fancy with different colore peppers. Green is just fine, no red or yellow necessary.

I'm going to maybe head down that way and get one to go later this afternoon. Only problem is I'm not sure if I will get the Philly or the meatball sub.

The meatball sub is very good. The sauce is very tasty and the bread was toasted perfectly. :D

I'm sure the food is great, just seems like a weird place to eat. Is there a separate dining room or area with tables or something? Or just food served at the bar?

I had one for the first time the other day while enjoying a fine cigar. It's really hard to find a quality sandwich down here, but the Philly Cheesesteak at HLH hit the spot for me. Of course, I abhor artificial cheese, so the lack of Cheez Whiz is a plus in my book. I forgot to ask if they do take out, if so I'll probably eat one there next time and maybe get a meatball sub to go.

Well I tried this sandwich.

Its pretty good. I feel about 5 lbs fatter after eating it, which isn't a bad thing as its not billed as health food.

Could benefit from a better bun or fresher bread. Maybe cause I had it later in the day. Bread wasn't stale but real fresh unique bread can really take this to the next level.

It could also use some more meat. I know meat is expensive in Costa Rica, particularly this meat which has to be imported as its super tender. Maybe add double meat as an option for like 2000 colones more or something?

Fries are great, and cooked perfectly. Good American ketchup also.

Still a very good sandwich overall, very tasty and high quality meat.

Its alot better with salt and pepper and hot sauce.
