It doesn't get any better than a Carmen (from Speakeasy) meatball sub followed by a good Cuban Cigar at HLH.

I'll take one or the other... not one followed by the other... unless I want to get sick.

Just got back today and this is my first post since - Had the incredible Meatball Sub at HLH Friday and Arroz Con Pollo platter on Saturday,and both were incredible. The meatball sub was truly the BEST!! I've had in years. Meatballs were meaty had very little Italian breadcrumbs-just enough to bind. and perfect blend of herbs and fresh garlic. Sauce made with Fresh basil and oregano and gooey cheese on a delicious Italian sub roll.As my handle suggests I'm a chef but this chef Carmen really is a rare talent- and yes their is a hint of jealousy in this post.. Her food is better than mine and I think I am pretty good-so I am told ..Kudo's to Boyd, Carmen and the rest of the HLH family. You keep making the best better.

Finally had the meatball sub today! Excellent! Nice lineup of chicas. EXCEPT. The CRT queen is a pig! Would have done any chica there BUT Laura. Was counting the dimples on her ass, but lost count. May do a double today and go back for the Philly Cheesesteak.
