We went to Caracas Arepas last week for lunch and it was quite good. Arepas are round, 1/2 inch thick rolls{?} that is opened like pita and then stuffed with shredded meats or salads. I got the marinated beef while my friends got the chicken/avocado salad and the shredded marinated chicken . Very tasty and a little sloppy. They cost about $3 apiece and you can supersize it for $2 and get a side and drink. Caracas is beside Criolla[sp.] and you can see the Jade Museum from the front door. The place looks like your typical subway with metal tables and sterile decor. Not a place to go out to dinner but a good place for a filling and cheap lunch.
