The Casino Calonial has been working on the bar and restaurant there for over a week, and it doesn't look like they are nearly done. I'm surprised they are changeing the bar since I've always considered it one of the best places to have a drink especially when meeting a chica. They have had the entire area closed off so you can't see what they are doing.

VB...is the restaurant closed? I'll be in CR in a couple more days, and was thinking about going there to eat once or twice.

They have a really good Sopa de Tortilla there. That or a Ceviche are great for taking the edge off from the previous night.

in the 100plus times I have been in the casino the most people I have ever seen in the bar and restaurant at one time is 5 ...that is my guess is why they are changing things around. I have always heard good reports about the food and service but with the amount of players in the casino they are doing a weak job on marketing their restaurant inside the casino and since its attached to a nice hotel ....even worse that place isn't packed.

I have the answer as to what they are building. They cut the bar in half to make more room for slot machines. I guess they make more on the slots than the bar and restaurant, especially as the previous gentleman said, he's never seen more that 5 people in there at one time.
