The New Delmonico Rib Eye Steak the Sportsmens! Thumbs Up!

I’m Back well it took me a long time to return and a lot has happened since my last report but I’ll do my best to make up for lost time. First where Have I been? Well if you remember one of my last posts was I was heading for a Prostate Biopsy which came back positive for low grade Cancer. And all factors considered I choose Active Surveillance or “Watchful Waiting” before making a treatment decision.

Me and my wife eventually moved back to the states to Just west of Pasadena and about 6 months ago we divorced. I also just finished 8 weeks of Proton Radiation therapy for my Prostate Issue at Luma Linda medical Center in Southern California as well. Next PSA test is in about 3 months will keep you informed.

Heard Gamlingman was heading to town for a quick weekend so I hopped the redeye and arrived Friday Am. We are with two Non mongers for a little golf and we are at the Marriott in by the airport.

Anyway enough of my troubles needed to do a quick review of Dinner last night at the Sportsmen’s Lodge and a scene update. Myself, Gamlingman & Scotty (Hotel M) enjoyed a little bite at the Sportsmen’s Last night. At bills urging he indicated that he now gets his meat from the famous Don Fernando. He recommended the Delmonico Steak. We had two Delmonico’s Ribeyes Scotty had a Corvina Dish and we enjoyed the company of a ration that was easily 3-1 Ladies to men.

Steak by the way top 3 I’ve had in CR very good, none of that strange flavor you usually gets from carne here in CR and really a great deal at 10K each. Scene update very quiet all around town but quite a selection of ladies at the SL last night. One in particular caught my eye but didn’t pull the trigger. Supposed to meet her at the Sl later so I’ll update you tomorrow. All and all good to be back even if for a few days. Bottom line Steak at the Sportsmen’s a Good Value and Worth a Try!

PS: Service was beyond attentive and never a wait for anything…. Really top notch!

I concur about the steaks at SL. My favorite is the Ribeye. I always end up sharing it and the potato with a chica as it is really big. Bill has hit a homerun with his new beef supplier.

I'll be down on Thursday, and will probably indulge in one....

I can not wait to try the ribeye. I am a ribeye man. Those other cuts may be great to some. Porterhouse, Filet Mignon, New York Strip, Sirloin, etc. Ribeye is King in my book. Medium Well with salt, garlic, peppa, and some fries and and an ensalada on da side! Ummmmmmmmmmm! Que rico.

Ribeye is the best cut of meat to me as well. I may eat a a sirloin or a prime rib once in a great while, but it's ribeye most of the time. On the bone if I can get it that way.
