While on my recent trip, we ordered up Absinthe at the bar inside La Amistad. This drink is normally prepared using a sugar cube. Asta did not have any sugar cubes and was ad libbing using granular sugar. She made a decent drink out of it but was frustated that they were not able to find sugar cubes in Costa Rica. We promised to post on the board and ask that someone bring her some sugar cubes from the States. If anyone is going down and would like to help her out, I am sure she would very grateful! |
