word is there is an applebees in the works to be opened i think in paseo de las flores.....mall in heredia...anyone else hear this?

It is just past the mall when you are headed toward Heredia. Same center as Universal. Not sure if they are open yet.

The last time I ate at an Applebees was in 1997. Had the Jack Daniels marinated ribeye. Wasnt bad. I wonder how the CR Brahma cows will taste marinated in JDs. Prolly dont even have that on the menu anymo!

If they do, I wonder if they'll have some sort of variation of the "2 for 20" deal they have going on here in the states. I go there quite a bit, its a great value, an appetizer and 2 entrees 20 bucks is a great deal.

a better version of TGIF i dont know if they can afford tgo do the 2 for 20 type deals here.......god i hope the meat is imported i hate the brama meat.....

I would hope they don't go the same route as TGIF in Escazu and essentially double the US prices. $23 for potato skin appetizer and $20 for a burger and fries.

Its like $100 for 2 people to eat dinner with appetizer and a few drinks... LOL
