Thanks Admin....Will look forward to checking it out when I am in town for the Jul 4th weekend.

Do you know if they are planning to allow un-escorted chicas to hag-out in the bar area?

Matt & Staff,

I know this has been a long time coming, and I'm sure you're all probably very excited to get the new bar / restaurant opened. I wish you the best of luck with everything, and I hope things will run smoothly for you.

All the best,
Mucho Gusto

hmm, i noticed a slight change for the following discounts:

25% off the Daily listed rate below!
35% off the weekly listed rate below!
35% off the monthly listed rate below!

didn't it used to be 15 25 35 respectively? is that accurate or just a typo?

Matt does specials throughout the year offering better discounts during slower months.... he also did the same discount structure during construction....

What do you know about him allowing un-escorted chicas in the bar? You stay there often so I thought you might know.

Matt has stated that unescorted females will not be allowed in the bar.

Thanks...I had that feeling from my brief discussion with him, a few months back. But I just wasn't sure. Nonetheless, it will be another nice place to go with a lady when one needs a bit of peace and quiet away from the SL.

It is a typo. Tom must have copied are green season rates from last year. we normally give the discounts in mid sept thru jan 15th. we will be making some more changes this year but not exactly sure yet. Girls will have to be escorted and will not be permitted to solicite in the hotel.

Hope you all come and try us out.

Matt....Looking forward to it. I will be in July 2-6 and will drop by to help you work the "bugs" out of the operation!

Uh, you don't know what "unescorted" means? :P :D No, that won't change, it's that the bar will NOT be another SL--no working chicas hanging around for customers.

Bill, Asta and Myself view it as a win, win, win situation. CRT members will have many different locations and bars to hang out in with different atmospheres. Asta is a partner in the Amistad Restaurant and will be responsible for the day to day operation. The real losers will be the gulch (sp?) as the idea is to diminish the need to leave the area. The restaurant across the street from the Amistad is under new ownership and is also very good. I walked a CRT VIP sponser form over and discussed it with the owner who i think will also be offering discounts. There is a new coffee shop (very nice) that opened up 1 block north of the amistad that shows potential. Having many options in a location actually helps everyone as long as there is variety of the food and activity. Amistad is going for a tapas and martini bar feel as not to be in direct competition with SL and cafe mundo.

Hope to see you all there and we appreciate CRT support.

Matt

Matt this sounds like a great concept and I am glad to see that you have undertaken this effort in collaboration, not competition, with others in the neighborhood. I look forward to help you cristen your new addition, in July.
