On my last trip, I wanted a good fish dish, but somehow screwed up on my order and got some deep fried stuff that reminded me of Arthur Treachers Fish and Chips (my fault, not the restaurants). Any recommendations on the best fish platter to order there? Will be back next week Thanks |

The Corvina with seafood sauce is excellent. Not breaded and not deep fried. |

It helps to know the Spanish words for the different types of preparation. Baked...... horno Broiled..... parrilla Fried..... frito |

The menu does have some English on it I always forget my eye glasses so the menu is just a blure I love the Covino sea bass in garlic the woman that runs the place is most helpful and knows english to a point |

Try the chicharon de pescado...fried bits of sea bass served with a small salad and fried yucca. This is my new favorite. |

Take a left turn out of the HLH door. Walk up the block until you are 50 feet from the corner. Turn right 90 degrees and cross the street and walk in the front door of Soda Peru. And, tell us how your meal was. |

DG, I agree. I have been to Soda Peru probably about 20-25 times, if not more. I have never ordered anything different. I can't comment on anything else because this is the only thing that I have ever eaten there. |

The corvino sea bass is fantastic. The menu had English explanations next to each item as of last visit. |

The trouble is that everything there is so good that it is easy to get stuck ordering the same thing over and over just because is was so darn good the first time you ate there. |

No offense, but it is Corvina. And they do it very well there. However, what is most impressive to me is their Parihuela.
