This place is a quick shot from Avenida Central, two-minutes on foot.

It is simply decorated for the most part, white table cloths and wood panels. There are photos of famous Argentines adorning the wall, sort of like you might see of Al Capone at a corny Italian place ... only not corny (advanced vernacular, I know!).

The food is a mix of meats (of course!!!), pastas and seafoods. The style is not overtly Argentinian as many other places are (read:SALTY) but there is a light touch in all they do and the steaks are quite good. I do not normally eat beef here, I even ordered a pretty good gorgonola/spinach ravioli (one of the better pasta dishes I've had in Central America) but my date's steak tempted me (and of course she understood I needed the protein).

Total damage for their best steak, the pasta, a beer and an espresso was about $35 I believe. This is a classy place to take a girl, I would prefer Cafe Mundo's atmosphere and prices and definitely Olio's atmosphere and diversity of eating options, but I would still recommend this place.
