Hooters
Il Panino
Spoon
Bagelmens
Port City Java
Time Out Tavern
Rock and Roll Bar
Dennys

I am sure there are tons more... Let's hear 'em!

Did the Time Out Tavern get rebuilt this quickly? They suffered a disastrous fire on in early May. Good thing if they did rebuild.

Are you limiting it to restaurants, so places like HLH wouldn't count (although I've used my Skype phone at the bar there many times)?

Restaurants:
News Cafe (Hotel Presidente)
Sportsmens Restaurant (Sportsmens Lodge)
New Bar at Hotel Amistad
La Luz (Hotel Clarion Amon)
Restaurant at the Hotel Morazan (w/ a good range extender attenae and if its working)

I imagine any restaurant within a hotel that has free wifi will also have free wifi. If there is a pass code usually you can just ask for it (Not necessary for any of the above except for HLH).

We have have to wade through Thread after Thread of meretricious drivel, one-on-one infighting and attendant hijacking, and particularized questions which though important to the posters, don't add a lot to the General Info pool...then up jumps an on-point gem like this. Thanks to CVCap and Brother Senordos for their contributions. No joke.

When's the last time you hooked up there? Earlier this month when I tried it had turned into a prepaid service. The website below dated March 26, 2009 states that you now need a prepaid card and warns your credit cards won't work.

Not yet, but I heard that it is in the process of being rebuilt, expanded and remodelled.

I'm just interested in hearing about ANYWHERE with free WIFI.

Alot of places have passwords also for the free WIFI, so if we can share those it would particularly helpful.

You can get the Hotel Castillo WIFI in much of the restaurant. I've used in often, though I could never get a signal in the bar in the front part.

The current password at the Cigar Bar in the Hotel Little Havana is "cigar bar", I forget whether the space is there or not.

Great site linked by Brother Senordos...and not just WiFi info either. Read this with the State Depts. Travel Advisories to find out what's ugly.
Everybody's looking to squeeze us travelors for fees.
