Aside from the women Key Largo is a great place ; the Bogart pictures and the music !!!

There is a black singer named Wallace ( I recall ) who is really good. I've seen him on separate trips. He has a really unique face almost biblical and he sings reggae, salsa.

Another time an almost all chica band.

I believe that place has some of the best music in Central America and the hotb tray food is not bad either.

Overall the music is good at the KL although I am not a fan of Wallace.

They don't get the best bands in San Jose much less the best bands in central america.

I love key largo...hence my handle name...

I have always like everything about it, especially a few years back when Don Miguel was running it. Although I liked chad and gabby too.

As far as Wallace goes, I personally like him..... I requested from Gabby to have him play for my birthday and she took care of it. He really seems to get the people dancing (as does the alcohol).

Count me as a fan I love the place and not just for the chicas. This trip I never even scored out of there. But I love hanging at the end of the front bar and watching the ladies shake their moneymakers. I find the music on certain nights to be amongst the best in CR, other nights it bombs.

I do miss watching the heavy set guy dancing with the girls. I think his name was Pippy. He was a great dancer and brought some hotties from his dance school.

And the bartender, Diana is hot as well as the blonde one with the glasses on the back bar.

My post looked like the women at Key Largo weren't nice. They were and there was enough variety to satisfy anyone.

the "heavy set guy" is refered to as 'el Gordo' by the chicas and just about everyone else who knows him. Dance studio?? don't think so!! he works for a security company according to what my ex novia said. She is a working girl as are the rest of the chicas that dance with him; and she has danced with him for 3 years almost every night.
