Has anyone ever been to Jurgen's Grill? It is located in the Boutique Hotel Jade in the Barrio Dent district of San Pedro. Their phone number is 224-2455. I've had a couple of Ticas rave about it. It's supposed to be one of the best restaurants in San Jose. Can someone (CRT Gourmet/Tman?) please visit there some night, and provide a review? |

I gone to Jurgens a couple times. Upper class joint with good food and upscale prices. Most patrons appeared to be Tico, and most everybody was well dressed. I enjoy the place and plan on going back during future trips. One of these times I may even show up sober (but I rather doubt it). Another nice spot to go is Chango's in the Escazu area. |

Upscale wise the french restaurant in Hotel Le Bergerac in Los Yoses is as good a french restaurant as any I've had in NY, LA etc. Also upscale Ticos dressed up. A small quiet place but not cheap migrant |
