There was a soda type spot my tica friend introduced me too last year. I still confuse calles with avenidas so I can not remember exactly where downtown the place is was.

I do remember that it was on a side street. It was a Tico spot. Kind of like a soda having Lasagna as the specialty of the house.

The Lasagna offered was served with beef, chicken, or sausage.
Lasagna was served in small square aluminum pans. Salads, coffee, etc.
Not a large place. The size of Hamburger Factory.
Trust me when I say they had the best Lasagna I have ever had.
If any of you living in San Jose know the name of this place. I would sure appreciate the knowledge.

This may surprise you but the Rosti Pollo serves an excellent chicken lasagna for 2700.00 colones.

Thanks to those of you who tried to answer my origional thread.
I found the spot during my 4th visit to CR 14 de mayo. The name of the Bakery. Yes Bakery!

Is Trigo Miel. I met the owner and everything. She was very pleasant and accomodating.

She informed that there were two main locations with several other satellite locations around the city. Wow!

Last day in I bought 4 frozen and one hot lasagna plate. One to eat the others to bring back to HTown.

Location 1 one block from Pesidente Hotel same side. The second location. The street that crosses Avenida Central @ Fountain Clock. 100 meters.
