There is a great restaurant on Paseo Colon called La Bastille. It has been around for years, but was purchased last October by the chef Thomy. He is a swiss guy. He is a GREAT cook. Thomy has owned a few restaurants in CR in the past. Anyway, he truely is a great chef, and the prices are not bad. it is a nice place, with good service. Thimy has been known to frequect HDR and KL, so he's on board with te program. It is a couple doors away from Lubnan the Lebanese restaurant. |

This place sounds interesting. Any idea if open for lunch and about what side street it would be near. I frequent the area checking the mp's during day and would like to check it out.rbc100 |

I ate at his old place the name of which I cannot remember. He is a great chef of international talent. His cooking is probably as good as it gets anywhere. He created a turkey meal for three of us plus dates a couple of years ago on Thanksgiving. I brought him some Alsacian wine which he appreciated. I will see if I can find some photos for the photo section. |
