This is a little off the beaten track but I thought those with a taste for something different might be interested. Fiesta Del Maiz is a cafeteria style restaurant that specializes in corn dishes and I mean everything corn, from your basic tamales to things I'm not even sure what they were. But all quite tasty and cheap. It is a good place to stop on your way to Jaco or the points north. It is 1 km off the Pan American Hwy (get off at the Atenas exit). |
