Suit: Staff trainer suggested waitresses put out for extra bucks
APRIL 13--We've carefully read the Hooters employee handbook and it does not address what a manager is supposed to do when a corporate trainer tells waitresses they could earn extra money by sexually servicing customers. In a federal lawsuit, Jarman Gray, a former assistant manager of an Alabama Hooters, charges that he was fired last year after complaining about comments made to employees by a female "visiting training manager." In his April 7 U.S. District Court complaint, a copy of which you'll find below, the 31-year-old Gray claims that a trainer named Cat told waitresses that they were "the ones with the pussys and you are in control because of that." Then she reportedly added, "If you need the extra money, go ahead and suck a dick or Phuck a customer if the money is right." Gray contends that offended waitresses approached him and "asked if he could resolve this problem and correct Cat's offensive behavior." But after he called the Hooters corporate office to complain about the trainer's remarks, Gray said he was canned by the owner of the Auburn franchise where he worked. Gray, who is suing for sexual harassment and retaliation, charges that franchisee Darrell Spikes told him, "I'm top dog, you don't call corporate. You no longer have a job here." Gray, who worked at Hooters for about nine months, filed his complaint days after receiving a "right to sue" letter from the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. In mid-2005, Gray filed a complaint with the EEOC alleging that he had been terminated "in retaliation for reporting sexual harassment in the workplace."

I went to Hooters a couple of days ago.
Its an $ 8 dollar taxi from Presidente each way.
Hooters was out of Tshirts, It was crowded and the Hooters girls were great looking better looking that the one in San Francisco.

I ate and drank there I did get a group pic of some of the Hooters girls.

At age 69, Robert Brooks is dead. He knew, that just like peanut butter belongs with jelly, and like Paris Hilton belongs with a yeast infection... chicken wings belong with scantily clad waitresses.

The minister is delivering the eulogy: â€œRobert Brooks brought smiles to the faces of young men everywhere with his novel idea of incorporating crass sexual innuendo into his menu and hiring busty women to be his waitresses. Appropriately, he died at age 69. "Ashes to ashes, bust to bust."
The funeral announcement is probably something like:

"Out of respect for the deceased, female guests are asked to wear their BLACK (not orange) tiny booty shorts. And when you view the body, please lean forward to give Mr. Brooks one last look at your cleavage. He wanted it that way."
As was his request, Mr. Brooks will buried with sides of Curly Fries and Cole Slaw.

I actually went to the San Jose Hooters for the first time this week. My wingman had been there before and was quite fond of the place. Contrary to some initial postings about this place, the girls seemed quite friendly even though not as aggressive as USA Hooters girls might be. BUT...our waitress was actually quite receptive to the local bizcard my wingman gave her in case she wanted to party this weekend. She had to "Sneak" it into her pocket from under a menu...but the insinuation was she was available on the side. Another even prettier one came over quite friendly, and while I was tempted to try the same thing...it was my last day in CR this trip. We even spotted a hot Delrey bartender we'll leave unnamed having lunch with an older gringo. Seems THEY are available sometimes too . So...I would say its worth checking out Hooters sometime if you havent though I dont usually like gringo type places in Latin america. There is no such thing as "sexual harrassment" in CR to my knowledge. It happens EVERy day...so these girls will not be fired for adventures. Just harrassed maybe...

The President and Chairman of the Board of Hooters died this week.The cause of death was unknown at the time. Do you think it had anything to do with the fact that some of his girls may be phucking around.

I can add to the updated information on Hooters in Escazu. I was there in late July of 2006. It was clean, the food was excellent (fat ass wings!), the beer was cold, and the service was outstanding. Hooters girls are trained in the art of providing good service. Not all Hooters girls comply with that training, but this Hooters seems to do everything by the book. If you like Hooters you will not be disappointed with this one. My only criticism is that the merchandise was lacking. As for making arrangements for snagging a Hooters' chica for some outside action, I offer this opinion. If you are a reasonably good-looking guy, not an asshole, and can connect with your target on a personal level, you can have her for free. Keep in mind that we are like rock stars not only in the Gulch, but almost everywhere throughout Latin America. I pay for it in CR because I don't want to invest the time and energy into courting free hook-ups, and besides, NO DRAMA is priceless. My advice to the lucky ones is this: Donâ€™t sell yourself short. If a non-working girl in Hooters or anywhere else expresses interest in you, donâ€™t blow it by offering P4P. BS a little charm and see what mileage you get with just that.
