I spend less and less time around the Del Ray, but if I happen to make the trip I also try and hit Costa Del Sol. By far the best NY style pizza in the city. Other pizza exist that is just as good if not better, but considering the location, price and quality you really cant beat it.

I used to like Costa Del Sol, but since the Italian owner sold the pizza has worse ingredients, and they would not give parmesan cheese to sprinkle. The dough was also much saltier.

Sorry to say this, but put a business in the hands of a Tico and they will somehow mess it up....

I say we just kidnap Dean the next time he comes down, take his passport and force him to make pizza and philly cheese down here...

Give me a break Harlo. Every place I know uses mozzarella cheese, which is a white cheese, when making pizza.

Your post "It has white cheese instead of yellow" indicates that where you live yellow cheese is the norm.

With "all due respect and kindness" I am asking what kind of cheese is used where you live.

can we please get his settled at Little Italy Pizzaria, before another thread like this gets out of hand :roll:
