For all the Escuzuites, try the pizza at La Taverna, just 50 meters down from Serettos. It's excellent!

:( :( sadly Florida, if you are reading this from a better place, as our dear Friend PR, pointed out, Eddie reneged on his promise...there is a new place that opened behind the HI, but no confirmation on what kind of cheese they use....I suspect Harlo and ID might go on their anniversary, and hopefully they will post

Harry of Bar Poas and I tried their two mediums deal. The pizza oven is a conveyor-type that feeds in one side and out the other...ours came out baked, but not browned. It was not undercooked under the sauce, cheese and toppings, however for my personal preference I would request longer time on baking.

Here's my rating/review of the pizza

crust good not great, firm, no limp dick imitation. fresh
sauce-adiquate not much flavor, above homemade, but would have liked fennel in it.
cheese good - great....matches OK pizza downtown
toppings pepperonis are small, about the size of hot dogs, but tasted good. Sausage was bland. veggy tops were good

Hopefully with more practice, it will improve. They certainly have the oven for a good pizza, now if they can improve the sauce....

Plus, interesting to see Richards' old haunts, amazing how big it is. And I like the windows in the front, hope they plant the planter box along the front.

Best advice is to spend the extra $600 and fly to Chicago

Talking to one of the little twats at the SL one day. It was her birthday and I had just bought her a drink. I asked her if she could pick one place for dinner to celebrate what would it be. She seriously thought for a little and said "Pizza Hut".............WTF?..... I'm from Chicago.

that post about pizza hut got me thinking ....I had a friend that pisses away more $$$ than anyone I have ever seen....so sharing this story , he met a girl from sportmens ...and wanted to take her out to dinner, she says yes but wanted to bring her friend ....he says yes. Now the following facts are hard to believe but true. First paid his girl $200 for the night 2nd paid the friend $100 as she was coming to dinner (free dinner and drinks was missing out on making money ,no sex from her to him) and the bill was $280 as the story goes the girls ordered the most expensive items even though they didn't know what they were ordering ......

My last trip met a non worker and on one of our dates I ask her where she would like to go to dinner ....I was thinking about going to the steakhouse near the freebird but she says ...."please baby can we go to KFC"

Best not to take them out of their element. Ever notice how busy McDonalds is on a weekend night? Couples are dressed up also.

I'd recommend people avoid the Pizza Hut on Calle 8 next to the BCR. Their pizza was expensive at 6000 for a small pizza. Also, I'm fairly certain that their pizza gave me the runs...

If you want a really good pizza, I'd recommend the Motorock Diner in Santa Ana. It used to be called Pizza Party but the owner moved the restaurant to Santa Ana earlier this year. The owner is a friend of mine from Canada who was in my motorcycle club. He makes an awesome pizza! Great restaurant and atmosphere too. Just ask for Mike.
