I ate at this place this week. The interior is a cross between Long John Silvers and Red Lobster. The food was mostly fried and/or heavy sauces. Mediocre at best and I think they ripped me off. The meal for two was almost $50 and the receipt was so lightly printed that I could not figure out what they were charging me.

Agree; good place - but talapia.....c'mon; far better choices

Better place, on the road to Curridabat, is "Balcon de Mariscos" - better food, better atmosphere

I agree, I think :?

I noticed a long time ago that the oil they use is funky at best. Although I live within walking distance of the one in Sabana, I haven't eaten there in years.

I know we like to make fun of, judge, criticize, etc Ticos' business practices, but let's be fair though. Does anybody think the restaurants in the US are any different? They use and reuse the same oils and filter and strain them until it's no longer physically possible. Our health is not their biggest concern, the bottom line is.

Anyone have an address?

You know CR taxi's. They have no idea where anything is at.

Just tell them La Princessa in Sabana, they all know it. Make sure you say LaSabana because they have other ones further out. Avoid peak lunch hours, the office workers from ICE and other big employers pack that place and you will wait to get seated and wait to get ordered and wait to get fed. If u do go then, order 3 drinks at a time and that'll help cut the wait time. Their seafood soup is very good, recommended. They did have a health issue problem several years ago and got shut down for a bit but who knows.

Was the restaurant in Moravia that got shut down for violations not the one in La Sabana.

Want good seafood you might try Machu Pichu off Paseo Colone. Not cheap but exceptional. Great seafood lunch, Soda Peru just south of HLH on the other side of the street.

If you like Seafood, you can take the Moravia bus on 3RD Ave. 1/2 block West of Morazan Park, 230 colons, 20 minute ride. Princess Marina at Morovia. The bus stops in front.
