for those of you who like Captain Morgans, I found it @ bar Idem. Also, a good alternative which I found today @ ZB was a new rum called "Ron Diaz" A spiced rum as well.

Not being a rum drinker I did not pay too much attention to the Captain Morgan portion of this thread. The other day I was in Saretto's, a super market in Escazu with a large liquor section, and took a look at the rums they stock. Sure enough they had Captain Morgan's so it is available in Costa Rica.
