The road going through Aserri into the southern mountains has breathtaking views of San Jose and Cartago. There are great chicken, beef and pork places.

If you are interested in going to one of the places, but are reluctant because of your lack of Spanish skills, email me. I would be glad to go along. I can extoll the virtues of Spanish but showing you how I learned to pick up girls in Aserri.
