Las Palmas, next to Hotel Castillo, where the old Gardens was, is now opening at 8:00 with a good breakfast menu. Xavier runs a tight ship

Of course, if they get used to seeing you around and they know you then no one ever says anything if you have some fruit and juice or whatever anyway.

I have never been asked to pay for anything that I took from their breakfast setup, even if I'm not staying there. Of course, I often do get breakfast there, and I spend enough at the bar that no one questions me anyway!
