the brad burger at brad's in lindora is really good. meat from don fernandos. thick and covered with grilled onions. also a blue cheese burger and a juicy lucy. not cheap, but 2 for one happy hour from 4 to 7 weekdays helps.

Don't eat burgers when you're putting the body through a sexual olympics. Nothing wrong with eating well on vacation, just make sure the fat is worth it.

I agree with Brother Jadcujo about meat hamburgers but alternatives to bring with include turkey and soy burgers (really, I'm no fun at all) or bring down your own Bubba Burgers. Just a thought...

I have tried the Del Mar burger and it is so far the best I have had in the gulch and the fries were great.

"DITTO".............Laredokid.

I had the Del Mar cheesesburger and fries during my May/June trip. No doubt, the best cheeseburger and fries I've ever had in San Jose.....quite possibly, in the U.S., as well.....and served with real American ketchup, possibly HEINZ or HUNT'S.

I had gotten the Del Mar cheeseburger and fries, once about 4 years ago, and had forgotten how good it was. 8)

Been a few years, but I always enjoyed the Del Mar burger a lot too. Not in the gulch, but we are fortunate that we now have several places to get a good burger in Jaco. Strange, that a burger should be such an easy thing to make, but is so hard to find a truly good one. I'm talking US also. Ok, if you live in a major city probably not that hard.

Del Mar burger could possibly be "angus beef".....seems to taste like it.
