VB,

I think i may go tonight, Lamb is my favorite dish and I have not had any since moving here. Anybody remember whether Sorreto's has lamb? I make a mean spice crusted lamb chop.

Have never seen lamb at Saretto's. I would think your best chance would be at Don Fernando's carnicería in the Colonial Plaza.

On the old road to Santa Ana. From the Rosti Pollo in Trejos Montealgre go down the hill (towards Mc Donalds) and go right at Scotia Bank. Colonial Plaza will be on your left two blocks from Scotia Bank.

If you find lamb let me know where you found it.

Gents, you can on occasion find lamb chops at the AutoMercado in Santa Ana. The store is huge. Here is a small list of what I have found available. Imported italian salami, 3 or 4 different types. Imported gorgonzola cheese. veal chops, prosciutto rainging in price from 11,000 to 41,000 por Kg. all imported. To me this store has the best meat and cheese products available in Costa Rica.

Was at Auto Mercado at Plaza Major in Rohrmoser this morning and they had

Chuletas de cordero (Lamb Chops)

Pierna de cordero (Leg of Lamb)

Costillas de Cordero (Lamb Ribs)

You most likely can find them at the AM in Escazu also.If not ask the butcher to order some. Happy eating

Usually those promotions are for credit cards issued by one of the Costa Rican issuers (Credomatic or Banco Uno). Are you saying that they will give you that discount for any VISA card?

Bakea seems like a place to go with friends. Can someone dine there solo and not feel uncomfortable?
