I will add my "thumbs up" to those who have already said they like this Peruvian Restaurant. It definitely served delicious meals at very inexpensive prices.

Under the recommendation of Gman and Eddie (ZB), myself, goal, hoserack and showerhead ate lunch here 3 days respectively. Per Gman, I tried the chicken with garlic sauce, white rice and salad, and it was quite tasty. I went back and ate it again the next two days. Showerhead and goal tried something different and ordered shrimp coconut cream soup which made me regret that I didn't order it also. It reminds me of a Thai shrimp curry soup that I love so much. On this day the total bill for all three of us including one meal and drinks for each person came to 9100 Colones. I will be going back to check it out the next time I'm in CR. 8) 8)

I just ate the chicken fried rice. The food is good and the portion was generous. Definitely good food for the price. I will go back there in the future and sample some of their seafood dishes.

I finally got to sample this soda.I ate with Drillem, Scubabum and RBC walked in (obviously between $10 sexcapades). We all enjoyed the place very much. The seafood soup is not to be missed. It was of the quality of Machu Pichu at half the price with twice the seafood. It was a meal in itself. I then shared a fried rice with shrimp dish that was also outstanding. thanks for the recommendation guys.

This is my new favorite lunch spot in San Jose :D . I ate there 4 times last week and each time was as good as the previous.
The Seafood soup(I believe that they call it "Parihuita") is NOT TO BE MISSED !! Unless you have a super appetite, do not order the Super grande size of this soup. The grande size is more than sufficient for the heartiest of appetites.

Put me down as one who loves this place. The Parahuela (seafood soup) is outstanding, the people are nice, and the location is great.
