Walk past this cafe many times but never went in. It looks very nice inside. It's located on calle 7 & avenida 11, east of Dunn Inn & Mona Lisa. Info and reviews much appreciated. Here's there link http://kalu.co.cr/

cheers,
Attila

I've been inside a couple of times but haven't eaten there. It DOES look very nice. They have a nice, upscale gift shop, too.

They are one of the few local vendors for some very expensive chocolate ($4 for a little bar) that is made in the hills above Heredia. I don't buy it, but it's called SIBU CHOCOLATE (www.sibuchocolate.com).

I see one of the chicas who works in the chocolateria in Heredia. I give her oral- - - -she gives me $4 chocolate bars.

I LOVE COSTA RICA !!!!!

One time, she gave me FOUR chocolate bars that she custom-made at her chocolateria with all sorts of little chocolate shapes and designs on top of the candy bars.

I really DIDN'T (and still don't) think that I was that talented.

Nothing but good mentions on TA. Current reviews: http://www.tripadvisor.com/Restaurant_R ... ml#REVIEWS
The Lonely Planet reviewer agrees--seems a bit pricey but look at what you get: http://www.lonelyplanet.com/costa-rica/ ... -food-shop
