In my opinion, the food at Marisqueria el Recreo in Jaco (right across from Mas x Menos) is not very good and the service isn't either. Three buddies and I decided to stop in because of the 'fresh' fish and lobster on the menu. I've eaten a lot of fish and my buddies a lot of lobster and none of us thought it seemed especially fresh despite claims to the contrary. At least until I asked to see the live lobsters...which apparently didn't exist.

Im sure they didn't advertise Maine lobster. Carribean lobster are tailed upon capture and therefore are dead but fresh.
