At the HLH
1) The American breakfast. Eggs cooked to order and while I am not a bacon fan, it came out decent.
2) The Latin breakfast. Almost too much food!
3) The meatball sub. The meatballs were so tender you need a fork.
4) The Rueben. You could tell it was fresh corned beef and the Sauerkraut was fresh

At the SL
1) The club sandwich. It was OK. Smaller than an American club but they loaded it with french fries.

At the Dunn
1) Tried the meatball sub but they had no idea how to make it. The meatballs were hard and chewey sausage patties.

The soda at the central market
1) Had a seafood soup and rice with a white fruit drink ordered for me. The best meal of the trip! You could tell it was mom's cooking.

Thanks for posting these. Will check out that seafood soup at the mercado central. Was eating breakfast there regularly for a while, but never had lunch or dinner at any of the sodas. You are definitely right about the meatball sub and Reuben at HLH. Both good sandwiches.

There are a number of good sodas in the lower level of Mercado Central. I especially like the mariscos places. Normally very good food, and not as expensive as many of the typical hangouts in the gulch. Also, if you like good seafood, try Soda Peru... just up the hill from Little Havana.
