never really sought out german food but would be game to try. i will eat just about any kind of food out there.
notable passes for me at this point are scottish cuisine. wtf with haggis and porridge? although on whiskey they rule.
not a big fan of cajun, creole low country stuff either. everyone raves so much i have relented five times or so and just don't get it.

I'm of Scottish decent but I don't get haggis either. It's like kimchee, anything that is buried for a while may not be palatable. Where is your favorite Japanese place in San Jose? It's my favorite food .

You might enjoy Tamarindo, it´s got at least 3 sushi places. I liked Wok and Roll and Bamboo Sushi enough that I ate at each one twice in 5 days.

PS Holy resurected thread, Batman!

PPS I would be curious if these - or any Greman res'ts exist in the greater SJ area

The restaurant at he German club in Los yoses is the best bet. Or you can pick up some wurst at TOmTOM and grill some links.

Where is this?

TOM TOM is in Escazu, about 100 meters east of Saretto (or La Cascada).

The German club is..how the Phuck do I give directions for that place...hmm, on the street that comes from the BK in San Pedro back to San Jose, maybe about 800 meters west on the right hand side.
