Do they have a smoking area that you can use as an ordinary traveler without having to re-access the security process? If not, I'm not interested even if they had a Roman orgy after dining. If they don't accommodate me, I don't fatten their bottom line--it's just that simple in re: airport dining.
I strongly doubt it. My buddy has exited security and gone outside on Houston layovers to have a smoke. He missed his flight this way once (long line at security on his return). He now flies Delta so he can layover in Atlanta where it is more convenient for him to have a smoke (I think they use those smoking detention cells there). As for accomodation, I see you are still flying, even though your airline no longer accomodates your addiction. It's not the restaurant's fault if the State or the airport has a policy that bans smoking.
