Where can I get a decent Bandeja Paisa? Ajiaco, Empanadas, Arepas and Salsa Aji in San Jose? Thanks.

For these questions, the first or second place I'd ask is the country's embassy--those folks don't eat in their cafeterias all the time and obviously know their home country's cuisine and what quality is.
In this case call 22834-6871/6861 or email at esanjose@minrelext.gov.co

To find any country's embassy anywhere try www.embassiesabroad.com
A bunch of other good stuff there too.

In SJO Ave 7 across the street from Hotel St Tomas(Thomas) and/or just around the corner from Soda Peru. Real Colombians, real Colombian cuisine.

I haven't seen Bandeja Paisa, or some of the other things you are looking for on their menu, but they have the best Arroz con Pollo, and Milanesa, that you can find there. Well worth a visit IMOHP. I eat there about 3-4 times per trip.
