Last night my GF and I went with a friend to this fine restaurant between Santa Ana and Escazu. Situated inside "The Alta Hotel", this restaurant is very fine dining with excellent service and romantic atmosphere. The food presentation was excellent...french style presentation but bigger portions...and no wait for anything from drinks to dessert. The place has a great view of the valley...especially by day I would say though we were there at night. Assorted warm fresh breads brought periodically to the table was an especially nice touch. Will have to get the CRT gormet to give his review on this place. Entres ranged from $9-$24. Since we were cocktailing, I didnt checkout the wine list, but noticed they have a good sized wine bin up by their nice bar. Another option for fine dining in the valley. Personally I wouldnt take a working girl there as they wouldnt know how to act or order in most cases. But very impressive place for biz or impressing a regular chica.
