Be careful when dining anywhere in C.R. in large groups, and that includes Costa del Sol. Be sure to carefully examine your bill before paying.

I love the food and service at CDS and try to get there every trip. Love the chicken parmegiana, and I think their pizza is awesome...but more than one guy has told me that their kitchen is muy sucia. :( Oh well, they've never made me sick yet, and I'm sure I'll be eating hearty at D.G's birthday bash. :D
Well, hopefully what we can't see won't hurt us. I like the food at Mariscar too , but I hate the fact that I can see into that nasty kitchen from the stairs

Shawn, You telling me that after that lunch with Projillo, the sight of raw chicken laying on a stainless steel table wasn't Lagniappe

The "bathroom(s)" need some work too. The ambience doesn't really bother me though, because I love the food there.I had the calzone last time I was there and it was phucking massive! You could easily share it with your wingman or novia. The tomato sauce was sweeter than I am used to, but quite tastey.

YO Costa Del Sucks:

Once a favorite eatery of mine but no longer. I will avoid truly bashing the place since many here continue to enjoy the place. But, their kitchen is filthy, the bathrooms take away one's appetite and Lord help you if you pre-pay for a party there. Just my personal view.

And no, I will not eat there again. I probably feel a similar way DG feels about an eatery he will not do business with again.....it's just a couple of blocks behind Sportsman.

I've been drinking vodka every day for 45 years and I have certainly never found it to be habit forming.
