Nothing posted here for a few days so...

Anyone besides me had lunch at Soda Amon on Calle 7 (close to NF) lately? Thought lunch was good and reasonably priced (1800 Colones including a bottle of water). Very small place with many patrons from INS.

I too enjoyed the place during my trip in Nov. Basically across the way from NF and very local....and yet very easy to navigate. I guess when there all of those gvt. workers right there in that area, there needs to be decent places and local prices with decent food.

It's not open on Sat. or Sun. I discovered which also makes sense.

I guess it's considered a "soda", the Tico place across the street from the Hotel Europa. Great food at great prices. That's my favorite place to eat in San Jose.
