From my stand-point it sounds like the ole squeaky wheel syndrome to me... :x

The problem with greasing one squeaky wheel is that when you grease it, all the other wheels will start to squeak and there might not be enough to grease all the wheels,” that is on regular bases.”

Lets just leave it that.

That is a very street wise decision, particularly when dealing with
a Tico on his home turf…

Fictitiously speaking though it does rains a lot in San Jose and the streets become quite slippery…:roll::roll:

One could say though that the squeaky wheel is on a very Slippery Slope …. :?

That is where the squeaky wheel slips under a bigger wheel
and thus the end to that one squeaky wheel…:shock::shock:

Possible the bus will be able to stop in time...

With that said: Let us leave at that….

But of course that is just IMHO... :!:

Iggy… :P

Had lunch there twice last week, food was good and reasonable, but as most stated previously, no booze. IMHO, nice lunch spot if you can go without the alcohol.

If anyone is interested, Shannon's is now serving alcohol again. Had lunch there this past week, good food, reasonable prices. I could be mistaken but I think they raise the lunch prices on weekends. :?

They have alcohol now but they really raised the prices. 3 000 c for meals that used to cost 2000c . 50% increase wow. The fish and chips are always 3000c now never a lunch special.

And the only lunch specials are casados for 1800c. Weekdays or weekends.

The food is way over priced now. And the rude blonde barmaid makes people want to go elsewhere.

Sounds like the old "GOOD NEWS-BAD NEWS" routine. I'll check it out in January. Shame.....they used to have a pair of cute sisters in there tending bar....nice girls. :)

Glad to hear Shannons has alcohol again. Great place to meet the expats, and learn a little about what's up (depends who you talk to) Developed many business contacts there.

And I've dated some of the barmaids there. You guys, you know when a girl has a cold and you constantly offer her Halls, and show geniune concern for her welfare, it goes along way for appreciation. I know the sisters well. Sorry that they are not there.
