New York Bar sometimes has live music on Friday nights, though it's not the blues.

Apparently the band at SL makes most of the audience kind of blue. :D

If that's not the kind of blues you're talking about, Jazz Cafe has live music regularly. It's not always actually jazz, but from what I know it's generally a good night out.

Also, I did not know the live band at KL was restricted to weekends. I thought they had somebody every night. Am I wrong?

Si, KL has live musica 7 noches/semana, seems the best bands are on Thursdays, but that's just been my experience.

Sonny's was closed and padlocked last Tuesday. I was told that the business is "in transition." Further details still TBD.

I have heard that Sonny's Place is remodeling and should re-open by Feb 1
