We ate there last night and the food was first rate. More expensive than I remember at about $50 us per person but still excellent.

Can easily hit $50.00 PP depending on the quantity and quality of the beverages you order.   . Add in a few desserts and you can easily exceed $50.00PP

Easy,Pidd,LV Steve and myself had dinner at Fogo Brazil last night. Some thoughts about the place bare mentioning. First,I really enjoy the baby beef. (and the others agree) When the waiter came around with it,the beef was cooked too much so it was dried out.I asked him if he could bring us some that was rarer.Well 5 minutes later we were very happy campers because he brought some wonderful beef for us.He came back with a few more skewers afterwards. The place was doing a pretty good business from what looked like upscale Ticos. Well they would have to be because when they first opened the fixed price for all you could eat was 8500 colones which is around $17.The NEW price is $26,which is a 50% increase in less than one year. WOW Pidd had a big lunch at Soda Peru so he asked if he could have just a salad bar or some soup and a drink instead. He was informed that the salad bad ALONE would be $18. The waiter was more difficult to negotiate with than any Colombiana that I have encountered. He drank coffee instead.

Hi Guys,

It did work out to be $50 per person but I must tell you that I went back a second time last Sunday and although there were few people there, the food was first class. I love to dine out and have been to several of these places in the US and this one is as good if not better than any I've eaten at.

Also, they have some incredible mixed drinks there. If you don't mind spending the $50, it’s a real treat but make sure you bring your appetite!

I enjoyed a fantastic lunch at Fogo Brazil today. The quality of food and service blew me away. The buffet lunch ended up costing me $90 for three people...well worth it for my first and last top-end dining experience of this trip.
