Arrive around noon on the 4th. Staying that night in the Castillo and then heading to Jaco for three nights. Have booked a poolside room at the Cocal. Earplugs are already packed. Then returning for four more nights at the Castillo. I will be taking advantage of the Castillo's discounted transportation to Jaco (roundtrip is $100). Leave San Jose at 10am and return from Jaco at noon. Probably spend most of my time in San Jose at the Taormina, Sportsmens and Castillo. Will likely stop in Poas, the Rey (for nostalgia sake) and HLH. In Jaco I am going to explore outside of the Cocal. I will visit the Orange Bar and the new club that opened just up from the Cocal. Probably hit Bar Jaco for a burger and to listen to some live music. If anyone is going to be around, let me know and we can grab a cold one. |

I will be down September 2nd thru 6th hanging out in the same spots; SL, Castillio, Taormina, Lil' Havana, Poas, and at least one stop at HDR. Hope to run into you there. My prior trip will be from August 18th thru 24th. I might extend it another 3 days into the weekend. Will be turning 60 on this trip and trying to do that in Manuel Antonio. Other than the few days in MA, I will probably be wandering around the gulch, which is one of my favorite things to do. |
