My last trip before 2023 I will be working Remote a few days until afternoon while in town as my PTO at work is running low. I like this time of year after the rainy season although sometimes I find it windy,

These dates will also be world cup soccer games which I hear is Fun and crazy times in Costa Rica especially if they win.

This is my 3rd year making a trip before Christmas, The Puta’s seem very plentiful around the holidays from my past experience, as their all looking to make that extra money for the K*ds. Deals can and will be made :D


Will be making daily morning stops to Monica’s and few days maybe even a stop at Oasis as I found some decent talent last trip let me know if your in town these dates as I always makes visits to the Gulch.

Costa Rica World Cup dates 2022:

Wednesday (day before Thanksgiving) November 23 vs Spain 10:00 am CST
Sunday November 27 vs Japan 4:00 am ! CST
Thursday December 1 vs Germany 1:00 pm CST

If they make it through the group they play either December 5th or 6th at 9:00 am. (It’s a very difficult group)

To see the whole country come together with such passion for their team is an experience. You will have a good time. As I’m writing this, I’m thinking about booking a trip.

I was there for a couple games 8 years ago when they made the run to the Quarterfinals. It was crazy and a lot of fun! They beat heavily favored Italy on a Friday morning. Game ended around noon. The government gave all workers the afternoon off. All major banks and most employers followed. The pedestrian area downtown was a huge party. It was memorable.

BD- Thanks for sharing your experience in 2014, I am looking to have a similar experience myself even though the game I will be there for is the match against Germany, probably the toughest opponent in their group. Those 1st 2 matches just don’t fit my schedule but the Round of 16 starts that Saturday as you mentioned maybe team USA and CR can both make it thru.

I'll be at the Sportsman's Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. I will definitely slide over to El Castillo for a meal or two. Maybe we can have a drink!

Winetaster send me a PM when you arrive and I usually make a few trips to the SL checking out the available talent although last few trips have not been to much of a selection at the SL and the ladies I do see there are regulars.
