Post subject:  Easter Weekend 2023
Great forum and learning a ton! Will definitely post a detailed trip report. Planning a spring 2023 trip with 9 buddies for Jaco Beach. Planning for 4/4-4/9 which ends on Easter Sunday. Thinking that pushing the trip back a week or 2 would be better with more ladies available? Does that make sense? Thx!

Easter week is a very bad idea for several reasons.

Holy week is a very important week for Ticos. Almost all will be off work. Most will try to go to the beach. The most crowded week of the year at the beach. Most hotels will have special (very expensive) rates for the week. All restaurants will be packed.

On the Sunday you are planning on leaving the road from the beach to airport, usually 90 minutes, can turn into a more than 8 hour ordeal. That’s with them closing west bound traffic and converting all lanes for travel back to San Jose.

And critically, it is an important week for family. Most chicas with few exceptions will be with their family, not working at the usual spots. Definitely more chicas available any other week, by a large margin.

Any other week would be a better choice.
